Roadmap

ImpactMatters assesses nonprofits against our Impact Audit Standard. The Standard provides a flexible framework for understanding how a nonprofit advances its mission.

We are continously working to improve the Standard and incorporate feedback and criticism from the sector. We welcome your comments on the Standard here. Below we describe the current version of the Standard, as well as major planned and previous versions of the Standard.

Scope Single-program nonprofits with a charitable mission that are directly delivering an intervention to their beneficiaries.
Major Iterations Replaced v0.1. Switched from certification to rating system. Added four rated dimensions: Quality of Impact Evidence, Cost of Impact, Quality of Monitoring Systems and Learning and Iteration. Substantial changes to all rating criteria.
