Integrate Health

Impact Report on Integrate Health’s Integrate Health Model

Program activities
Integrate Health (IH, formerly Hope Through Health) saves lives in the world’s most neglected communities of Northern Togo by integrating professional Community Health Workers (CHWs) with improved care in public sector health facilities.

IH collected data on outcomes of the population each year after the program began. To estimate the change attributable to the program, IH made an educated guess as to how the population would have fared without the program.

Data source
Household surveys were adapted from the 2013 Togo Demographic and Health Survey modules and were completed annually by data collectors with women ages 18‑49 in 4 IH intervention catchment areas in Northern Togo using population weighted sampling.

Attribution method
Counterfactual mortality is modeled assuming that without IH, mortality in the IH community would have followed the national trend based on UN mortality data. Findings are preliminary; IH aims to publish 48-month results in a peer-reviewed journal.

This report was created by Integrate Health with self‑reported data using ImpactMatters guided impact reporting. This report covers August 2015 to June 2018.
